Service Telecom Tech- IP-PBX systems

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and motivated Telecom\IT Professional who consistently seeks personal challenges and professional rewards of working in the field with large customer base.

 

We are a Telecom Vendor, currently seeking an experienced Telecom Tech to provide installation, maintenance and support for servicing customer base PBX’s.

The successful candidate will have working knowledge of PRI, VoIP, IP, VPN & POT’s. along with call center software a plus.

Trouble shooting skills are needed for repairing and replacing defective equipment, and maintaining inventory of equipment.

Working knowledge of installing and trouble shooting CAT5 & CAT6 wiring, installation of patch panels, POe's etc

 

Panasonic Certifications a plus, Inter-Tel and Mitel Knowledge also a plus.

Willing to train the right applicant.

 

•Perform telecommunications maintenance support for moves, adds, changes.

•Receive and respond to telephone trouble calls and calls requesting telephone related information.

•Resolve problems by analyzing and repairing or replacing defective equipment; programming telephone instruments as requested by users; installing, rerouting and disconnecting voice and data telecommunications cables.

•Conduct site surveys to determine technical requirements for installations, relocations, and upgrades of telephone equipment, systems, and services.

•Maintain records of telephone trouble work orders, client orders and other records to track services provided.

 

Experience:

•Knowledge and experience in maintaining, repairing and troubleshooting telephone equipment and associated systems/software for commercially available electronic key systems and VoIP applications.

•Experience conducting site surveys to determine technical requirements for installations, relocations, and upgrades of telephone equipment, systems, and services.

•Knowledge of different types of wire, color coding systems, conduits, insulators, mounting systems, etc to construct and protect the network

•Skilled in using common hand tools such as drills, wire cutters, soldering guns, splicing equipment, etc
